What we collect when you use this website or fill one of our enquiry forms, why we collect it, who sees it, and how to ask us to correct or delete it.

- • We collect the details you give us in our admission form, our job application (careers) form and our advertisement forms, and when you call, WhatsApp or email us.
- • We use them to contact you about admission or about your job application. We do not sell them.
- • On the admission form, once you enter a phone number or an email address, what you have entered is saved even if you do not press Submit, and our team may call you back.
- • The job application form asks for four documents, including a salary slip or bank statement. These files are not kept behind a login — see section 7.
- • This website uses the Meta Pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) which pages you visit so that we can measure and target our advertising.
- • You can ask us at any time what we hold, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop contacting you.
1. Who we are
This website, www.bansalpatna.com, is run by Bansal Classes Patna — the Patna chapter of Bansal Classes — for its two centres in Patna. Bansal Classes Patna collects the information described on this page and is responsible for keeping it. In this policy "we" and "us" mean Bansal Classes Patna.

2. What we collect, and why
Giving us your details is your choice. If you do not give a phone number, we cannot call you back. One thing to know first: on the admission form, a phone number or email you enter is saved even if you do not press Submit (see the second box below).
Admission enquiry form (Apply Now)
What: The student's name, a phone number, the class and the course you are interested in. Optional: an email address, the current school and any question you write. The form also records the type of browser and device used, and the date and time.
Why: So that our admission team can call, WhatsApp or email you about the course, fees, the BOOST scholarship test and batch timings.
Details entered in the admission form but not submitted
What: The name, phone number, email, class and course that had been typed, or filled in automatically by your browser, together with the browser and device type and the date and time. These are saved once a 10-digit phone number or the start of an email address has been entered - even if you do not press Submit, and in most cases even if you clear the field afterwards. It happens when you leave or switch away from the page, or pause for about 30 seconds.
Why: So that our team can call back families who started an enquiry and did not finish it. If you do not want that call, tell us: we will stop calling and delete those details from our enquiry records.
Careers (job application) form
What: Your name, phone number, the position, preferred centre, qualification and experience. Optional: email, current or last organisation and a note about yourself. Four documents are required: your CV, your last 3 months of salary slips or last 6 months of bank statement, your current offer letter, and one other document such as a degree, experience certificate or identity card. Browser and device type, date and time are recorded as well.
Why: To assess your application, confirm your experience and current salary, and contact you about the vacancy.
Phone calls, WhatsApp and email
What: Your phone number or email address, your WhatsApp name, and whatever you tell us in the call or message.
Why: To answer your question and follow it up.
Enquiry forms inside our Facebook and Instagram advertisements
What: The details you enter in that form, such as your name and phone number. Meta, the company that runs Facebook and Instagram, passes them to us.
Why: To call or message you about the course or scholarship test shown in the advertisement.
Simply visiting a page of this website
What: We do not ask you for anything. Your browser automatically sends some technical details: your IP address (a number that identifies your internet connection), your browser and device type, and the page you opened. These go to Google, which hosts this site and supplies its fonts, maps and videos, and to Meta through the Meta Pixel (see section 3).
Why: To show you the page, and to measure and improve our advertising.
The forms described above do not ask for passwords, card or UPI details, health information or biometric data, and no payment is taken through them. The careers form does ask for a salary slip or bank statement, which shows your bank account details and transactions, and its "other document" may be an identity card. We collect these only with the agreement you give by ticking the box on the careers form. The Bansal e-Learning app login at www.bansalpatna.com/app is separate — see section 10.
3. The Meta Pixel, cookies and advertising
This website uses the Meta Pixel, a tracking tool from Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram. It loads on every page. Through it Meta is told, among other things:
- • that a page of this website was opened;
- • when someone taps an Apply Now link, a phone number or a WhatsApp link;
- • when an admission enquiry is submitted, and for which course;
- • Meta's code can also record on its own which buttons are pressed, and basic details of the page such as its address and title.
Along with this, Meta's code collects your IP address, the address of the page you are on and of the page you came from, your browser and device details and its own cookie identifiers. If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, Meta can link this activity to it. We have not set the Pixel up to send the name, phone number or email address entered in our forms to Meta.
In simple words: Meta can recognise your browser on this website and on other websites and apps, and uses that to measure advertising and to choose which advertisements to show you.
Third parties, including Meta, may use cookies, web beacons (tiny invisible images that report a page visit) and other storage technologies to collect or receive information from this website and elsewhere on the internet. They use that information to provide measurement services and to target advertisements. We use this to see which of our advertisements bring enquiries, and to show our advertisements to people likely to be interested, including people who have visited this website.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that a website saves in your browser so that it can recognise the browser later. Our own code does not set any cookies. The Meta Pixel places its own cookies in your browser (named _fbp and _fbc). The Google Maps on our Contact and Kankarbagh pages and the YouTube videos on our Gallery page can set Google's cookies when they load. We do not use Google Analytics.
How to opt out
- • In Facebook or Instagram, open Settings, then Accounts Centre, then Ad preferences. There you can limit how your activity on other websites is used for advertising, and see or disconnect "Your activity off Meta technologies".
- • Use the industry opt-out pages at aboutads.info/choices and youronlinechoices.eu.
- • Block or clear cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker. This website works normally if you do.
4. Who receives your information
We do not sell or rent your details.

5. Students under 18
Most of our students are under 18. The admission form asks for the student's name, but it should be filled in by a parent or guardian, or by a student who is 18 or older. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to fill it in, or fill it in only with their consent. The website does not ask for anyone's age and cannot tell who is filling the form.
- • A parent or guardian can use every right in section 8 on behalf of their child.
- • If your child has sent us details without your consent, tell us and we will delete them.
- • The enquiry forms we run as advertisements on Facebook and Instagram are meant for adults, aged 18 and above.
Some pages of this website — including the Home, Results, Testimonials, Gallery and Notices pages — show the names, ranks, photographs or videos of students. If you are that student, or the parent or guardian of a student under 18, and want yours removed, write to us and we will take it down.
6. Where it is kept, and for how long
Form records and uploaded documents are kept on Google's cloud servers. A copy of each enquiry and application is also kept in our two office mailboxes. Some of this happens on computers outside India. For example, the Google service that emails each enquiry and application to our office runs in the United States; our mailboxes are kept by Google and Zoho on their own servers, which may be outside India; and Meta handles Pixel and advertisement-form data in data centres in several countries.
At present nothing is deleted automatically, and we have not fixed a period after which older records are removed. They stay with us until someone on our team deletes them or you ask us to. We keep enquiry details for as long as we may still need to follow up about admission, and job applications for as long as we may consider you for a vacancy. You can ask us at any time to delete yours, and we will, unless a law requires us to keep them.
7. How we protect it
- • This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.
- • Form records in our database can be read through our app only by signed-in staff accounts that an administrator has given an office role. Copies also sit in the two office mailboxes described in section 6, and the people who maintain our systems can reach the records.
- • Documents uploaded with a job application are not kept behind a login. Each file has its own long, hard-to-guess web link, which is kept in our records and in the email sent to our office. Anyone who has that link can open the file, so tell us if you want your documents removed.
No system is completely secure, and we do not promise that ours is. If we learn of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will inform you and the relevant authorities where, and in the way, the law requires.
8. Your choices
You can, free of charge:
- • Ask what details of yours we hold and what we have done with them.
- • Ask us to correct or update anything that is wrong or out of date.
- • Ask us to delete your details, or the details of your child.
- • Withdraw your consent to being contacted. Tell the person who calls you, or message or email us, and we will stop calling and messaging you about admission.
- • Ask us to remove a student's name, rank, photograph or video from this website.
How to ask
Email info@bansalpatna.com, call or WhatsApp +91-91356-99903, or visit either centre. Please mention the phone number you gave in the form so that we can find your record. We will reply within one month of receiving your request and will carry out a valid request within that time. Before we disclose, correct or delete anything, we may call or message the phone number on the record to confirm that the request really comes from you or, for a student under 18, from a parent or guardian.
If you withdraw consent or ask us to delete your details, we will not be able to call you back or take your application forward.
9. Complaints — Grievance Officer
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, or with our reply to a request, write to our Grievance Officer. The Grievance Officer will look into your complaint and resolve it as quickly as possible, and in any case within one month of receiving it.

If you are still not satisfied, you can use your rights under Indian law. This includes complaining to the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, once the Board starts taking complaints.
10. What this policy does not cover
- • The Bansal e-Learning app, on the web and on Android. It is used with a login by enrolled students, parents and staff, and collects other information that this page does not describe. For any question about information in the app, use the contact details in section 9.
- • Information taken at the centre when a student is admitted. For questions about it, ask at the centre or use the contact details in section 9.
- • Other websites we link to, such as bansal.ac.in, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps and Google Play. Each has its own privacy policy.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top. This version is effective from 6 October 2026.
